Is Japan on your bucket list?
It’s a destination we keep flirting with but are yet to take the kids. Josh was lucky enough to make it to Tokyo last December and had a fantastic time. I have been very jealous when he talks about the attractions and the food he ate. Just as I was thinking we need to fix this situation soon, an email landed in my inbox with some fabulous videos that take me back to my time in Japan many years ago and also make me want to hop on the next flight!
I want to share these videos as I think they are quite unique. I love how you can change where you are looking in the image and it feels like you are there. I especially love seeing the cherry blossoms at Tsuruga-jo Castle. Cherry blossom season in Japan is such a special time. I absolutely loved seeing them in bloom myself.
Take a look at this video of Hama-rikyu Gardens in Tokyo and Tsuruga-jo Castle in the Tohoku area. Remember to click on the video and move around as it’s playing.
In this video, you can see more of Tokyo and the Tohoku area including two great places to stay – the Park Hyatt Tokyo and Ouchi Inn. Again, you can move around, have a drink and check out the view, just like you would if you were there.
So what do you think – are you ready to fly off to Japan?
